Youth Development Program at Rohrer Middle School

Haddon Township Rowing Club is pleased to offer young athletes a chance to explore rowing while still in middle school. Our Youth Development Program provides instruction on boat handling, safety, technical skills and strength building. Coaches work to maximize the amount of time rowers are on the water and tailors instruction to individual athletes skill level.
WHEN
Practices held after school, 3:15 pm-5:30 pm every Monday and Thursday (this new day is a recent change in schedule).
The 2025 program begins 9/15 and ends 10/30 for a total of 14 sessions. All practices are on water, as conditions permit.
WHERE
Cooper River, Camden County Boathouse, 7050 N. Park Drive Pennsauken. Report to the HTR's bay in the Boathouse, located at the back of the building, the last bay on the right when facing the river.
ELIGIBILITY
Open to any 7th or 8th grade student enrolled at William Rohrer Middle School. No prior rowing experience is required, HOWEVER participants must take HTR swim test scheduled for Saturday September 13th.

REGISTRATION
Participants must complete HT Rowing Club registration forms as well as those required by HT School District for student athletes.

- Complete and submit online registration form (below).
- Review, sign and submit HTR's Code of Conduct Agreement . Click here to review Code of Conduct and online Agreement Form.
- Complete and submit HTR Waiver.
- Pay non-refundable deposit or pay in full at time of registration.
- Submit the updated sports physical form dated within the last year (365 days). Found HERE.
- Complete an impact test if it hasn’t been done within the last two years. Found HERE. Enter Code B18C2A9A36
- IMPORTANT: You do not need to create a FamilyID account with Arbiter to participate in HT Rowing program.
