YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR ROHRER MIDDLE SCHOOL
Haddon Township Rowing Club is pleased to offer young athletes a chance to explore rowing while still in middle school. Our Youth Development Program provides instruction on boat handling, safety, technical skills and strength building. Coaches work to maximize the amount of time rowers are on the water and tailor instruction to individual athletes' skill level.
SPRING PROGRAM for 2026
WHERE
Cooper River, Camden County Boathouse, 7050 N. Park Drive, Pennsauken, NJ 08109. Report to the HTR's bay in the Boathouse, located at the back of the building, the last bay on the right when facing the river.
ELIGIBILITY
FEE: $400
REGISTRATION
Participants must complete HT Rowing Club registration forms as well as those required by HT School District for student athletes. Space is limited. Please reach out to the school nurse to confirm your student has a sports physical on file. Your student must complete an impact test if not completed within the last two years. Click HERE. - Practices held after school, 3:30pm-5:30pm
- Every Tuesday & Wednesday beginning 4/14 and ending 5/13
- All practices are on water, as conditions permit. Rained out practices will be made up on 5/19 & 5/20,

- Open to any 7th or 8th grade student.
- No prior rowing experience is required,
- Participants new to HTR must take swim test.
