Congratulations to Michael Gasiorowski (junior), Brendan Savell (senior), Henry Fowler (senior), and Gavin Dunn (junior) whose performance at the 2025 US Rowing Youth Nationals earned them the title of 10th fastest u19 Quad in the nation. Theirs was one of the fastest and most closely contested fields in recent memory at nationals with photo finishes at both semi-finals on Friday as well as Sunday's finals (L- R: G.Dunn, H.Fowler, B.Savell, M.Gasiorowski). Today, HT's men's quad participated in one of the most exciting races to date at Youth Nationals, where an intense showdown unfolded during the first of two semi-finals. The top four competitors would move on to the A Finals, while the others would compete in the B Finals. While the first team across the finish line had a comfortable lead, the contest for second place was intense, with only 2 seconds separating the second through sixth place boats. It was a photo finish, impossible to determine the outcome from the stands. HT was in the thick of the competition but narrowly missed qualifying for the A Finals by a mere 0.09 seconds. The boys race next in the B Finals on Sunday at 2:20pm, where they have an opportunity to secure a top ten national ranking.
