2023 Spring Season
HTR's Spring competitive season begins with winter conditioning in order to prepare rowers for 3 months of competitive racing. Winter conditioning builds strength and stamina and is considered an integral part of the Spring season and is required to compete in the spring racing unless the head coach approves a rower's participation in an approved HTHS winter sport. If you are doing another, approved winter sport and plan to join the spring HTR team - please register now so coaches have a better sense of the full roster.

Each of the following steps is required to successfully register. All steps must be complete BEFORE beginning practice. 1. Complete online HTR's Registration Form (below) and submit $75 non-refundable deposit. 2. Submit and confirm all HT High School student athletic forms/tests have been received/approved. Click here for details. HT HIgh School requires all student athletes to have a Family ID account. 3. If you did not row in Fall of 2022 - Review HT Rowing's Safe Sport and Team Rules/Code of Conduct and submit Code Agreement Form as well as HTR Waiver. FEE:
$975 Fee covers 5 months of coaching, equipment use and participation fees for 10+ regattas as well as a team t-shirt. Additional costs include HTR team uniform, Haddon Hammer registration fee and membership in US Rowing to participate in US Rowing sanctioned races. Fee Assistance: HTR offers a payment plan, a 10% sibling discount (automatically applied) and financial aide (please email HTRC President at [email protected].
Full payment at time of registration is preferred, but payment plan is available. If you opt for the payment plan, an invoice will be issued. Club accepts check, Venmo and credit card via PayPal (PayPal processing fees are added)

While prior rowing / athletic experience is NOT required to join the team, rowers must be able to stay afloat. All HTR rowers are required to take a one-time-only swim test administered by the Club prior to the start of on-water practices. Swim test consists of treading water for 5 minutes and swimming 25 yards - by any stroke |
