2013 Head of the Charles, Boston  October 19-20

Maddie Remetz at bow and Lauren Kairys at stroke looking good in the last leg of the nearly 3 mile Head of the Charles Regatta. It is one of the world's largest rowing competitions attracting more than 9,000 athletes. Rowers must navigate a course that includes five arched bridges and multiple sharp turns - not like the Cooper. The Remetz/Kairys duo were very strong and overtook ten other boats in their race to the finish.
