Youth Development 2022 Program
Haddon Township Rowing Club is pleased to offer young athletes a chance to explore rowing while still in middle school. Our Youth Development Program provides instruction on boat handling, safety, technical skills and strength building. Coaches work to maximize the amount of time rowers are on the water and tailors instruction to individual athletes skill level.
WHEN
The program consists of five, 2-hour sessions conducted on consecutive Saturday mornings from 8:00am - 10:00 am beginning Saturday, September 17th and ending Saturday October 15th. The last Saturday will be a joint session with the High School team and will run from 6am-8am.
WHERE
Cooper River, Camden County Boathouse, 7050 N. Park Driver, Pennsauken, NJ 08109
Report to the HTR's bay in the Boathouse, located at the back of the building, the last bay on the right when facing the river.
ELIGIBILITY
Open to any 7th or 8th grade student.
No prior rowing experience is required, HOWEVER participants must be able to swim.
FEE: $300

To register for the program, please complete the 3 steps below. Those with incomplete registration will be placed on a waiting list

- HTR Waiver. 2022 Learn to Row participants do not need to resubmit this waiver.
- Pay non-refundable deposit or pay in full at time of registration. Full payment due by September 21st.

Fee is $300. There is a non-refundable $75 deposit due at time of registration.
