The team is preparing for its second regatta of the season, the Manny Flick 2 on March 27th in Philadelphia. Competitive racing began this past weekend at the Manny Flick 1 where HTR earned one first place finish (Boys Freshman Quad), two second place finishes (Boys Freshman Quad, Girls JV Quad) and four 3rd place finishes (Girls Novice Quad, Girls Varsity Double, Boys Varsity Double and Girls Varsity Quad.)

Haddon Hammer saw its largest turnout ever on Sunday. After a two year hiatus due to the COVID pandemic, more than 300 registered to compete at HT Rowing's indoor rowing championship that offered a range of events from middle school to masters. Our congratulations to the winners with a special shout out to HTR's own who medaled: Athena Constantakos took silver in the Women's Jr Lightweight while MaryTheresa Fitzpatrick took bronze in the same event, Brendan Savell took bronze in the Men's Jr Novice and Luke Gerber earned bronze in the Men's Jr Lightweight. Thanks to all competitors and spectators - many of whom cheered with as much intensity as the rowers. The event ran brilliantly - thanks to our fantastic race operations crew under direction of Coach Fitti as well as the hardest working crew parents around who stepped up to manage the myriad of other tasks that make for a successful event.
