The 2016 Learn to Row camp is one of the most successful programs to date. Twenty young athletes signed up and they have been impressive. Focused, energetic, quick studies and talented. Rowing is a challenging sport - but the 2016 LTR participants have taken to it like - dare we say - fish to water.

Paul Duffy represented HTCC this morning in the first day of the USRowing Youth National Championship. Paul put together a great race in tough conditions, finishing fifth. This should have been enough to advance him to tomorrow's Reps. Unfortunately, due to these rough conditions and a forecast for high winds, race organizers have been forced to cancel the Reps and all Sunday racing, meaning that Paul did not move on to Semis. It is a tough break for Paul but fuel for next year as he returns for his senior year with the club. Great job Duff!
