HT Rowing has a full weekend of racing on Cooper River on Saturday and Sunday.  Starting with the Garden State Scholastic Championship on Saturday, the club is sending 10 crews to compete for the State Championship!  Racing will continue on Sunday with competition from all along the east coast in the Cooper Cup Regatta!  Lineups are not the same for both days so be sure to check the schedule for both days.  It is supposed to be rainy so bring extra clothes with you and be prepared for weather!  All athletes must arrive at the boathouse 90 minutes prior to race time. Signing events were held this past Wednesday at Haddon Township High School for two stellar senior rowers, Team captain Athena Constantakos is heading to Monmouth University in West Long Branch NJ where she will continue to row under the Hawk name. Fellow Team Captain Joey Savell has signed to row for Cornell University in Ithaca NY where he will join is older brother and former Hawks rower Jack Savell. Congratulations to these two extraordinary athletes pictured below surrounded by proud family members, coaches and HT High School leadership.

HT Rowing wraps will be wrapping up Spring Break week by returning to the Schuylkill River on Sunday.  The club is sending 11 crews to compete in the 4th Manny Flick!  All athletes are required to arrive at the trailer 2 hours prior to race time.  The is the largest flick of the season so far so prepare for extra traffic.  Please see below for the schedule and lineups.
