Haddon Township did exceptionally well at today's City Championships Regatta for freshman/novice rowers. (Tomorrow at City Champs the varsity and jv boats will compete). Of the five boats HTR had in competition this afternoon, four finished first in their races -- while the girls quad of Grace, Athena, Sarah, and Maggie not only won their flight, they also had the fastest time of all 13 boats in their event which earned them a plaque as well as a gold medal. Every rower fought hard all the way down the river and while not all took home a medal each HT rower showed a determination that reflects true Hawk spirit.
