Congratulations to the new captains for the 2013-2014 season!
Boys: Noah and Dan Girls: Maddie and Lauren A message from Lois Capone, Coin Toss Chairperson Our extremely dedicated and brave parents stepped out onto our busy Haddon Township roads on Saturday, September 21st to collect money to support our rowers. Rowers looked terrific as they erged on the corner showing passers-by just how hard our team works. Past earned medals were visible dangling from ergs or proudly displayed around necks! It was a gorgeous day and our fundraiser was competing against other groups fundraising in town, as well as, in our neighboring communities. We still managed to collect a substantial $1918. Not too shabby for our first fundraiser of the year. Thank you again to all our parent and rower participants! It cannot be done without you. Can't wait to get on the river for our first Regatta. Keep calm and paddle on!  SPACES STILL OPEN. We need more HTCC parents and rowers to volunteer for this Saturday's coin toss..
Each season HTCC rowers and parents take to the streets to 'collect' coins from passing motorists. The bi-annual coin toss is one of our most popular fundraisers. While parents request donations from motorists, the HTCC rowers demonstrate the erg - safely set up on nearby sidewalk. There are two, 2-hour shifts and two locations. The time passes quickly; people are surprisingly friendly and generous. Please contact Lois Capone or Stephanie Haney for more information or to sign up or email [email protected]. Welcome to HTCC!! We will start practice tomorrow morning at 8:30. Please make sure everyone brings a water bottle and wears tight fitting clothes. We will be finished by 10:30.
