 HTCC has officially concluded its spring racing season today as the girls lightweight double of Kate and Juliette raced in their final at the Youth National Championship in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The girls had a very strong performance, taking fourth place in the C final, and proving themselves to be the 16th fastest womens youth double in the country!
We truly appreciate all support that has been given throughout the season, and are looking forward to building upon our success as we move forward. The girls beat Conestoga last night to take third place in their rep behind GMS Rowing and Seattle Rowing Center. They had a great race and one of their fastest times of the year! We will be back to the river Sunday morning to race in the C level final at 8:44 am.

We have arrived safe in Oak Ridge with rowers and equipment in one piece! After a foggy morning led to delays in racing (see picture), the girls ltwt double finished fourth in their heat with the 11th fastest time overall! We will be back to the course for reps tonight at 7:22 and will face Conestoga, Seattle Rowing Center, and GMS Rowing. Out of the four reps, the top two finishers in each race will advance to tomorrow's semis for the A and B finals, third place will advance to the C final, and the top two fastest times remaining will advance to the C finals. Results will be posted on USRowing.org following each race. Go Hawks!! |
